About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in the planning of telecommunication systems for Deutsche Bahn AG at one of our specified locations in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized planning services for railway and telecommunication projects within the telecommunications sector.
- Coordinate with all trades involved in planning projects.
- Prepare cost estimates and determine costs.
- Participate in the awarding process.
- Develop technical concepts and conduct variant studies.
- Identify contractually owed services and distinguish them from non-contractual services (additional claims).
- Attend site inspections.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in communications or telecommunications engineering, or a comparable field.
- Professional experience in planning (railway) infrastructure projects, construction phases, and preparing bills of quantities.
- Experience using planning tools such as AutoCAD, ProSig, ProVi, and Microstation.
- Knowledge of BIM.
- Strong technical and mathematical-physical understanding.
- Familiarity with railway operations and technology, as well as knowledge of HOAI, VOB, and current legal regulations.
- Very good knowledge of German and English languages.
