About the Role
This role is responsible for delivering compliant marketing communications for the Asset Management business across all operating markets. As part of the Marketing Communications Compliance Team and the 1st line of defence framework, this position offers the opportunity to act as a compliance professional within the Marketing division.
Responsibilities
- Manage reviews and approvals of Marketing Communications for Asset Management to ensure clear, consistent, and appropriate communications to customers and stakeholders, with a focus on UK marketing initiatives.
- Support the team as a point of reference for continuous improvements to the control environment, utilizing creativity and digital agility for easier work methods.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, using data and information to drive ongoing improvements.
- Apply broader financial promotions and marketing communications regulatory knowledge with sound judgment.
- Be accountable for delivering quality service and products to customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality assurance of communications approved by Asset Management staff to ensure adherence to the 'Marketing Compliance Control Framework'.
- Adapt to change, respond with initiative, and suggest improvements to own work and processes.
- Collaborate with others, providing clear and actionable feedback to expedite the approval process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a compliance/legal department within a regulated environment, ideally in asset management.
- Strong understanding of key compliance and legislative requirements for financial promotion, data, social media, privacy, security, and communication standards.
- Excellent verbal, written, and influencing skills, both in-person and remotely.
- Degree level education (or equivalent).
- Relevant industry qualification in a related compliance or legal discipline is desirable.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
