About the Role
Data Centre Installers (DCIs) provide an essential service to our clients across Europe. They work inside our clients’ data centres delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build their cloud infrastructure. Safety, security and customer service are the priorities for all ATC employees.
Responsibilities
- Unload, unpack with power tools and position customers’ IT hardware (server racks).
- Cable server racks by patching and dressing fibre and copper cables.
- Follow clients’ procedures and requirements, including health and safety, and security.
- Communicate with customers, colleagues, managers, planners, team leaders and supervisors, in a consistent, timely, and efficient manner.
- Complete daily checklists and provide reports on daily activities or tasks.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail.
- Basic experience with hand and power tools.
- Adaptability and responsiveness to evolving customer requirements.
- Valid class B driving license with a good driving record.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Email.
- Professional communication skills with clients, colleagues and vendors.
