About the Role
This is a discovery project focused on evaluating a UK bank's CMS platform, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements, and redesigning the platform. You will join a cross-functional team of 6, including engineering, delivery lead, and product specialists.
Responsibilities
- Manage design stakeholders and coach clients or teams in Design Thinking, Lean UX, Lean principles, and Human-Centered Design.
- Design and facilitate workshops and design sprints.
- Conduct user research and user testing.
- Consult with product owners on backlog prioritization.
- Create prototypes at various fidelity levels, from paper to hi-fi click-throughs.
- Audit existing user experiences.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking.
- Experience working closely with engineers, QA, and delivery disciplines.
- Experience presenting design concepts and running workshops with clients.
- Experience leading UX activities on a project.
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools like Sketch/Figma, with an aptitude to learn and introduce new tools and methodologies.
- Experience designing mobile-first responsive sites and mobile native apps.
- Experience with user testing at various fidelity levels, from guerrilla to lab testing.
- Ability to work closely with a team and the client as a sole UX Designer.
