About the Role
Accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling costs, and improving stock availability. Ensures warehouse systems effectively support operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all inventory is managed and counted in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, and audit standards.
- Drive improvements in inventory management and system performance through continuous improvement initiatives and more efficient ways of working.
- Optimise warehouse layouts and system configurations to maximise productivity, efficiency, and operational flow.
- Lead stock reconciliation activities and investigations into significant stock adjustments, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- Experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within a distribution centre or fulfilment environment.
- Prior Inventory management is essential for the role to hit the ground running.
- Previous experience within food logistics, grocery fulfilment, or e-commerce operations is desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
