About the Role
Our paid Intern & Placement programme offers hands-on insight into our company's work, helping you develop skills and knowledge in your chosen field. The programme is based on Arcadis’ core values, providing technical training and support for personal and professional development. You will gain experience on real projects and with clients over a 10–12-week internship or 12-month placement.
Responsibilities
- Plan, improve, manage, and design transport systems at local, regional, and national levels.
- Contribute to strategy development, transport modelling, infrastructure planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Utilize digital tools and data analytics to support projects.
- Help clients create safer, low-carbon, and connected cities.
- Design and deliver innovative, sustainable transport solutions that improve urban mobility and quality of life.
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
- Demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to use technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
