About the Role
World 50 Group is seeking an energized leader to curate, build, and lead an elite peer community of senior functional executives from the world’s leading businesses. You will be responsible for curating an elite program that adds value to our members and their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Building the membership, expertly managing relationships to understand member needs, liaising to initiate and facilitate connections amongst members, and leading program creation and execution.
- Collaborating closely with the group's Member Services Associate to enrich the overall member experience.
- Getting to know members at events and virtually via group video calls and one-on-one phone calls.
- Listening and understanding the issues that keep members up at night.
- Maintaining an active online community within the membership for members to ask and answer questions, connect directly, and collaborate through the World 50 App.
- Building creative, year-round programs (summits, regional dinners, small group discussions, conference calls, etc.) around members’ needs and interests and pressing business challenges.
- Developing agendas, guests, and subject matter themes to create fresh and must-attend business summits.
- Recognizing trends, reading everything, and talking to everyone to stay aware of business and world leaders that would enhance extraordinary conversations and programs.
- Facilitating in-person and virtual member gatherings.
- Confidently commanding a live room or virtual room with equal aplomb, inviting members to share their points of view.
- Serving as business editor for the group and creating insightful communication pieces that successfully summarize key findings from conversations.
- Driving the health and growth of the membership community by retaining members, adding new members, and providing additional revenue-generating services and programs to existing members.
Requirements
- Dynamic leader for a small team of shared resources in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic business developer comfortable working with C-level executives.
- Client relationship management experience, possibly developed through senior consulting roles, coupled with a hands-on style.
- Ability to interact as an equal to C-level executives without interjecting oneself as 'the authority'.
- Credible and confident, keeping egos in check while facilitating influential conversations among peer members.
- Proven experience in client relationship management, specifically interacting with and advising C-level and senior functional executives.
- Experience driving revenue and growth through retention, acquisition, and upselling additional services.
- Ability to confidently command and facilitate both live and virtual rooms, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing among high-level peers.
- Proven success in a variety of workplace cultures.
- Some career experience working for a start-up company is a plus.
- Thinks and acts with a creative, informed intelligence while demonstrating intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence.
- Tenacious personality in steadfast pursuit of excellence, capable of looking at every detail to build the most satisfied and engaged member group at World 50 Group.
