About the Role
Join Theo Randall’s award-winning Cucina Italiana at InterContinental London Park Lane as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. This role supports the leadership of a premier dining destination, delivering personalized service and inspiring a talented team.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example, delivering exceptional luxury service throughout every shift.
- Support the day-to-day operation of our fine dining restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Inspire, coach and develop the restaurant team, creating a culture of excellence, accountability and teamwork.
- Build genuine relationships with guests, recognizing preferences and creating personalized dining experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the Chef Theo Randall, the culinary team and wider hotel colleagues to deliver seamless service.
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Support labour management, stock control, scheduling and cost efficiencies.
- Drive revenue through exceptional product knowledge, wine recommendations and premium upselling.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety and luxury brand standards.
- Take ownership of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
- Passionate about luxury hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced fine dining environment.
- A minimum of 3–5 years' experience within luxury or fine dining restaurants.
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or Assistant Restaurant Manager position.
- Previous experience within a five-star hotel or internationally recognised luxury hospitality brand.
- Outstanding leadership and people development skills.
- A strong understanding of fine dining etiquette and luxury service standards.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, labour and revenue performance.
- Food Safety certification (essential).
- WSET or equivalent wine qualification (desirable).
- Knowledge of Italian food and language (desirable).
- Must meet the legal requirements to work in the UK.
