About the Role

The Transport Policy Analyst position assists in the analysis, development, and implementation of the City’s transport strategies, policies, plans, and projects, contributing to outcomes in strategic plans like Sustainable Sydney 2030 - 2050.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the analysis, development, and implementation of the City’s transport strategies, policies, plans, and projects.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in transport policy, analysis, and development.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering, Geography, Planning, or related discipline, or significant relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-moving work environment, as part of an agile team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Work, Health and Safety, and Cultural Diversity principles.
  • Must complete a pre-employment health declaration and a criminal history check.

Salary/Compensations

  • $155,826 - $174,619 per annum plus superannuation
