About the Role
In the IT department, organized according to ITIL, you will ensure that risks, regulatory requirements, and the availability of critical IT services are transparent and controllable. You will combine Governance, Risk Management, and Service Continuity Management to create clear rules, evidence, and decision-making bases, ensuring the IT department remains capable of action during disruptions, audits, and new requirements.
Responsibilities
- Translate regulatory requirements such as NIS2, KRITIS, and ISO/IEC 27001 into clear rules, controls, and evidence for IT.
- Manage IT risk management: assess risks, track measures, and report comprehensibly.
- Ensure critical IT services can be restored quickly and understandably after disruptions.
- Accompany Business Impact Analyses and clarify with those responsible which IT services are particularly critical.
- Coordinate BCM/ITSCM exercises, evaluate results, and drive improvements.
- Be responsible for the ITIL practices of IT Risk Management, Service Continuity Management, and Change Management.
- Advise IT management, service owners, process owners, and risk owners in collaboration with another GRC role.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Informatics, Informatics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or equivalent qualification.
- Sound experience in IT Governance, IT Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, BCM, or ITSCM.
- Familiarity with ITIL 4 and practical experience in Risk Management, Service Continuity, or Change Management.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and practical IT specifications, controls, and evidence.
- Relevant experience with reporting, control testing, recovery planning, exercises, or measure control.
- Analytical, structured, and risk-oriented approach to work – with a clear role understanding as an independent steering and control function.
- Strong communication skills, experience in moderation, and achieving binding results even without disciplinary authority.
- Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Approximately 70 percent of the requirements are sufficient for application.
