About the Role
Guzman y Gomez Frenchs Forest is looking for energetic, reliable, and passionate Cooks to join their fast-paced kitchen team. As a Cook, you will work with fresh ingredients to prepare vibrant Mexican flavours for customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and cook premium proteins according to the GYG recipe guide.
- Master the grill, station presentation, and high-volume food prep.
- Maintain exceptional food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Work collaboratively with the front-of-house crew to ensure rapid, high-quality order fulfilment.
Requirements
- Prior commercial kitchen experience is highly desirable.
- A "can-do" attitude, punctuality, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a bustling, fast-paced environment.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour and great communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a mix of morning, day, or late-night closing shifts, including weekends.
