About the Role
Sela is seeking a talented individual to join our team and contribute to building the market-leading AI voice agent for mortgage lenders. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems at the cutting edge of AI and contribute to a company poised for significant growth and disruption in the mortgage industry.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into highly scalable and maintainable software architecture in collaboration with the product team.
- Utilize AI coding agents and internal tooling to deliver new features and enhance existing code.
- Take end-to-end ownership of core software components, including architecture, implementation, and production reliability.
- Contribute to areas such as the AI agents' simulation and evaluation system, A/B testing framework, SMS capabilities, voice orchestration infrastructure, phone number management, outbound strategy, call scheduler and dialer, agent orchestration framework, agent management framework, and security and privacy services.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of common software design patterns and best practices.
- Experience using AI coding tools or agents to ship maintainable, clean code.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- Proven track record of owning and delivering major product features.
- Expert knowledge of at least one major programming language.
- Experience in high-growth startups, ideally at Seed through Series B.
