About the Role
Join the 5 STAR Event Services team and work alongside thousands of fans at Austin City Limits Music Festival, sporting events, concerts, festivals, conventions, and other premier events throughout Central Texas. If you enjoy working with people, being part of an energetic team, and helping create safe and memorable guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Conducting bag checks and guest screening procedures
- Verifying tickets, credentials, and access permissions
- Providing directions and guest assistance
- Maintaining clear access routes and crowd flow
- Enforcing venue policies and procedures
- Reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and incidents
- Responding professionally to guest concerns and complaints
- Assisting with emergency response and evacuations when necessary
- Providing security escorts and support as assigned
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Reliable transportation and communication methods
- Ability to obtain a Texas Non-Commissioned Security Officer License (Level II)
- Applicants must successfully complete all state licensing requirements, including fingerprinting and a background check.
