About the Role

We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to enhance the candidate experience and build the operational foundation for efficient and high-quality hiring. This role involves collaborating with recruiters, hiring managers, and leaders to coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and ensure smooth hiring processes. It offers an opportunity to improve internal partnerships and gain exposure to the full recruiting lifecycle, ideal for an organized and proactive individual aiming for a career in people and recruiting within a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

Own interview scheduling and coordination across multiple teams and searches, including complex onsite and virtual interview loops.
Partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to ensure hiring processes move quickly and efficiently.
Create an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience from initial interview through offer.
Manage onsite interview logistics and create a welcoming experience for candidates visiting the San Francisco office.
Maintain accuracy and up-to-date information in recruiting systems like Ashby, ModernLoop, Notion docs, and Juicebox.
Identify and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, process bottlenecks, and candidate experience issues using data and problem-solving skills.
Help build and improve recruiting processes, workflows, templates, and systems, leveraging AI for automation where possible.
Support the broader employee experience through onboarding, recruiting events, and other projects as needed.

Requirements

1-3+ years of work experience in recruiting coordination or a similar role emphasizing speed, organization, and communication.
Startup experience is a significant advantage.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills: clear, warm, concise, and composed under pressure.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to act quickly without compromising quality.
Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing frequently changing schedules and priorities.
High attention to detail, catching issues like time zone differences, room bookings, or interviewer swaps.
Demonstrated ownership and self-direction; comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in a fast-moving environment.
Genuine interest in hiring, creating excellent experiences, and the people aspect of company building.
Availability to work from the San Francisco office at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
