About the Role
Amarr Garage Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY, is seeking a Delivery Truck Driver for their New Berlin, WI location. This role involves physically demanding work, including consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook.
- Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
- Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.
- Accurately load & unload customers, inspecting for damaged materials.
- Unload and accurately receive incoming product.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
- Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
- Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
- Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
- Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
- Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program.
- Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
