About the Role
We are seeking an elite, systems-thinking Head of Operations to sit at the intersection of physical operations and technology. You will directly oversee Manufacturing, our Global Factory Network, Customer Service, and Customer Success, treating operations as an engineering problem to scale throughput using leverage, AI, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize a factory network and manufacturing process that redefines industry standards, upholding principles of radical customer-centricity, ultra-low MOQs, unparalleled quality, and lightning speed.
- Act as the ultimate enabler for the business, working with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to build workflows that allow every department to move faster and execute flawlessly.
- Evaluate, implement, and leverage AI, automation, and deep data analytics to drive operational efficiencies and track meaningful KPIs across all departments.
- Map, break down, and rebuild the entire user journey from the first quote to final delivery, obsessing over UX to ensure the customer is the hero of their manufacturing journey.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing, distributed teams across manufacturing, customer service, and success, creating a culture of excellence and high-velocity output.
Requirements
- Built a career at the intersection of complex physical operations (supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics) and modern technology/SaaS.
- A systems thinker who solves bottlenecks with better software, data, and processes.
- Highly analytical and fluent with data, able to extract insights, define complex KPIs, and use metrics to drive organizational change.
- Able to speak the language of engineers, marketers, and factory managers, bringing diverse teams together to execute a unified vision.
- 6+ years of operational leadership experience, specifically within high-growth startups, e-commerce platforms, or tech-forward supply chain companies.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- High processing power, business acumen, and logical reasoning.
- Takes 100% accountability for their domain and outcomes.
- Embraces blunt, constructive feedback and pivots instantly without ego.
- Acts with urgency without waiting for hand-holding.
