Responsibilities
- Collaborate with solution architects, vendors, and stakeholders to design scalable data architectures.
- Set up and manage Databases and Data Lake, optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity and security.
- Integrate data from various sources to create a unified view for analysis and reporting.
- Perform data transformations, including masking, aggregations, joins, and filtering.
- Collaborate on end-to-end data migration to a new data management platform.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
- Establish data governance practices and standards.
- Monitor data pipelines and systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and debug tasks to maintain data pipeline reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
- Document data engineering processes, technical specifications, configurations, and best practices.
- Provide maintenance support, development, and enhancement for the data management platform.
Requirements
- Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent experience with advanced qualifications.
- 2-5 years of relevant technical experience in data management, RDBMS, and ETL.
- Experience in requirements gathering, data modeling, pipeline development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Experience in data migration projects, including strategy design, data profiling, cutover planning, and post-migration validation.
- Experience in AWS Platform Architecture (S3, Data Lakehouse frameworks, Apache Iceberg, Glue, DataBrew, Lambda, Athena, etc.).
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating and scheduling data workflows.
- Ability to communicate with all levels to manage stakeholders.
