About the Role
The Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is seeking a driven Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
