About the Role
Join our Western New York Bridge team and contribute to significant infrastructure projects, including the I-81 Viaduct Project and Onondaga County/Micron Transportation Improvements. This role offers technical challenges and unlimited career growth opportunities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support bridge engineering projects from planning and design through construction support.
- Perform structural analyses and prepare design documents.
- Assist with field inspections.
- Work on all aspects of bridge design, including inspection, structural calculations, geometry layout, plan development, and construction coordination.
- Assist in progressing bridge projects through the design process, including report writing, environmental permit coordination, and development of contract specifications.
- Collaborate within a dynamic team to progress challenging bridge projects, gaining technical knowledge and project management expertise.
- Contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in bridge design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn.
