About the Role
Special Projects Operators are responsible for the relationships and operations connecting our network of experts to our data production. This role involves recruiting, onboarding, and managing experts, as well as building systems and tooling to automate these processes. It is a blend of project management and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Recruit experts into our network by finding and building relationships within their communities.
- Design the expert hiring process, including building and automating screening rubrics for new domains.
- Manage the network day-to-day, including onboarding, scheduling, quality checks, payments, and support.
- Build tooling to automate manual steps in applications, qualification, scheduling, scoring, payments, and reporting.
- Improve communication between the team and experts.
- Manage payroll tasks, file compliance documents, and provision/remove accounts.
Requirements
- One to four years in an operationally intense environment, or an exceptional record as a new graduate.
- Ability and enthusiasm to build tools with AI assistance; professional engineering background not required, but ability to read documentation and implement solutions is necessary.
- Extraordinary literacy, demonstrated through written and verbal communication.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, intensity, and sustained effort.
