About the Role
As a Technical Lead, you will shape the future of our technology platforms by combining hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership. You will drive architecture, engineering standards, and the delivery of scalable, cloud-based solutions, solving complex challenges and mentoring engineers to build a culture of technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction and architecture across products and platforms.
- Lead and mentor engineers within cross-functional teams.
- Drive delivery of high-quality, cloud-native solutions.
- Partner with Product and Technology leaders on strategic priorities.
- Balance innovation, scalability, security and resilience.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor across the business.
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex digital products.
- Experience in architecture and technical strategy in modern technology environments.
- Experience with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, Go or Rust.
- Experience with AWS, cloud-native platforms and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Microservices, distributed systems and modern databases.
- Experience coaching engineers and fostering high-performing teams.
- Experience of platform modernisation, large-scale transformation or enterprise architecture would be a bonus.
- Comfortable operating from code to strategy.
- Ability to influence technical direction while staying close to delivery.
