About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Supply Chain Project Consultant to support an ongoing business process reengineering program for a global client. This is a hands-on, project-based role for professionals who can work independently, coordinate technical and business stakeholders, manage priorities, support project activities, and communicate effectively across Japanese-speaking and English-speaking teams.
Responsibilities
- Support current-state and future-state supply chain process assessment activities.
- Support process improvement and transformation initiatives across supply chain functions.
- Assist with documenting business processes, operating procedures, and project deliverables.
- Support transformation roadmap and implementation planning activities.
- Participate in workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders.
- Support supply chain process standardization activities across functions and geographies.
- Assist with documenting process controls, performance measures, and operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain project task plans.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentation decks, and meeting minutes.
- Deliver presentations and facilitate discussions with client stakeholders.
- Provide Japanese-English and English-Japanese consecutive interpretation during global meetings, primarily related to Procurement, Domestic Logistics, International Logistics, and Customs topics.
Requirements
- Business-fluent communication skills in both Japanese and English are required.
- Candidates should possess a general understanding of supply chain operations.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to structure and manage project tasks independently.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to translate abstract discussions into clear and actionable presentation materials.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to accurately understand business discussions conducted in both Japanese and English.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality meeting minutes and project documentation.
