About the Role
Performs MRI imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision, under the administrative direction of the Director/Operations Supervisor and clinical direction of the Radiologist/Team Leader. May require cross-training in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Performs MRI imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision.
- May require cross-training in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based on departmental staffing needs.
- Maintains competencies in each modality and completes necessary documentation, including yearly certification renewals.
Requirements
- Advanced MRI Certification Required.
- Certified MRI technologist proficient and able to work independently.
- Able to cover responsibilities associated with on-call imaging within six weeks of hire.
- This is a bargaining union position.
