About the Role
This role involves owning the independent execution of design work across various mediums, including print, packaging, digital collateral, and social media. The designer will translate briefs into on-brand deliverables with minimal oversight, applying creative judgment and maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce marketing materials across print and digital, including brochures, flyers, reports, presentations, social graphics, event materials, and other branded assets.
- Support dispensary/market-specific marketing and corporate campaigns across a multi-state footprint.
- Conceptualize and develop creative solutions from written briefs, verbal direction, or business objectives, working independently once direction is set.
- Apply cannabis packaging compliance requirements without prompting.
- Maintain and elevate brand standards across all creative materials.
- Provide creative input on briefs and concepts, flagging weak direction and proposing better solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Prepare final production files for print and digital, ensuring accuracy and correct specifications.
- Coordinate with print and production vendors, including bids, artwork preparation, production requirements, and final review.
- Assist with video and motion graphics projects as needed.
- Maintain advanced, current knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, the broader Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant design tools.
- Perform other duties in support of business objectives as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Knowledge of the cannabis plant.
- Knowledge and understanding of current medical and recreational marijuana laws.
- Experience in a dispensary or assembly line production environment recommended.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must consent to a criminal background check.
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of the criminal background check.
