About the Role
OnPoint Pharmacy is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to manage its Smithtown location. This leadership role offers autonomy in managing the pharmacy, team, and prescriber relationships, with compensation tied to location performance. The company aims to reshape community pharmacy by integrating modern healthcare with personalized service and strong provider connections.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Supervising Pharmacist, including licensure, compliance, controlled substance recordkeeping, and inspection readiness.
- Manage daily operations and ensure dispensing accuracy.
- Hire, train, and manage the pharmacy technician team.
- Develop relationships with local prescribers and specialty practices.
- Grow the patient base through outreach, reactivation, and manufacturer programs.
- Oversee location performance metrics and collaborate with ownership on results.
Requirements
- Active New York pharmacist license in good standing, eligible to be named Supervising Pharmacist.
- Experience supervising pharmacy technicians.
- Immunization certified.
- PioneerRx experience is a plus, but not required.
