About the Role

RBC Wealth Management Europe is seeking a Director-level Advisor to lead business targets, drive revenue and asset growth, manage client relationships, and champion digital adoption. This role involves identifying new opportunities, achieving sales targets, and enhancing client experience through a comprehensive understanding of their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client base, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and generating new business.
  • Lead interactions with wealth advice, ensuring a full understanding of clients' and prospects' financial and personal goals.
  • Operate with a growth mindset, manage new business targets, and lead business development activities.
  • Articulate the full breadth of RBC's proposition to clients and prospects.
  • Introduce specialists to client relationships where required to enhance client experience.
  • Refer clients internally to the 'home of best fit'.
  • Guide clients through the advice journey before involving specialist colleagues.
  • Lead and manage teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Drive performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development conversations.

Requirements

  • Level 6 CISI or CII qualification. Level 4 considered with extensive experience.
  • Significant experience in a wealth management role.
  • Proven Relationship Management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and articulate solutions.
  • Detailed and diverse knowledge of business sectors, market trends, and financial products and services.
  • Acts as a role model, demonstrating capacity to drive positive behaviors in team members and colleagues.
