About the Role
AIT Worldwide Logistics is expanding its Final Mile Service Provider Network and is seeking reliable independent contractors and teams to support strong customer demand. Contractors can choose work that fits their schedule, equipment, and capabilities, with opportunities for greater volume based on business setup for delivery and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Pickup, deliver, and install products to manufacturer specifications.
- Assemble products on-site at customer homes.
- Complete in-home repairs using manufacturer-provided parts.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
- Physically capable of lifting, delivering, and assembling products.
- Provide and maintain required tools and vehicle(s).
- Must have an EIN.
- Meet AIT insurance, registration, and compliance requirements.
- DOT/MC authority required for some work.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT standards.
- Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.
Skills
- Experience delivering, assembling, or repairing products in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to safely handle and assemble large items such as basketball hoops, fitness equipment, furniture, home goods, and backyard products.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using mobile apps to manage and complete jobs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a 2-person team (except for repair).
