About the Role
Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and take the next step in your care career. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury. This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, consistency, and excellent communication skills, building positive interactions and providing person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and following the client’s support plan on a daily basis
- Adhering to infection control procedures
- Carrying out safety checks on equipment
- Monitoring and administering clinical interventions in line with training and care protocols
Requirements
- Experience in complex care is required
- PEG feeding experience
- Suctioning experience
- Catheter Care experience
- Stoma Care experience
- Medication Administration experience
- Moving & Handling Equipment experience
- Clear Communicator
- Mental Health Support experience
- Must have a valid UK manual driving licence
- Confident in using a mobility van
