About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Grant Analyst to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), a critical infrastructure initiative. You will be responsible for reviewing construction work plans and reporting on compliance and environmental permitting requirements for this transformative project.
Responsibilities
- Lead the grant management process and oversee compliance with grant requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, subject matter experts, finance teams, and grant administrators to develop grant budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial alignment with grant guidelines.
- Monitor grant performance, analyze financial data, and provide insights to optimize grant utilization, forecasting, and budget management.
- Prepare comprehensive grant reports, including monthly and quarterly submissions, and other documentation for funding agencies, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Collaborate with auditors, grantors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate grant audits, resolve financial issues, and maintain compliance with grant regulations.
- Stay informed about federal grant regulations, funding trends, and reporting requirements to guide decision-making, strategy, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate presentations, meetings, and site visits with federal partners.
- Review reimbursement packages, requisitions, change orders, and other new costs for federal eligibility.
- Establish SOP documents for routine processes and update them annually.
- Assist with the grant amendment process to obligate new Capital Investment Grant funds annually.
- Oversee grant analysts and delegate functions as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in grant management, financial analysis, or related roles, specifically in large infrastructure projects with federal funding.
- Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations, compliance standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, grant management systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
