About the Role
A busy family seeks a live-in, rotational chef to work a one week on/off schedule in Notting Hill. The position is a live-in when working, and working hours will likely be 6am-9pm, Monday through Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point person for all food-related stocking, purchasing, and planning for the residence, collaborating with the property manager and other household staff.
- Plan menus regularly with the principals and House Manager.
- Prepare delicious European and Mediterranean-style meals.
- Provide dairy-free options for one child.
- Manage breakdown and clean-up after meals, with assistance from housekeepers.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, focusing on healthy, from-scratch meals prepared to a refined standard.
- Cook for guests when required and occasionally for up to 20 people.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach, accommodating last-minute changes.
- Exhibit extreme organization and calmness under pressure.
- Possess strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Have extensive experience in private households in a full-time capacity.
- Be comfortable serving refined, tasty, and beautifully presented meals.
- Maintain a discreet and calm demeanor, integrating seamlessly into an ultra-high-net-worth environment.
- Display a positive and friendly personality while upholding a consistently professional approach.
