About the Role
The Supportive Care Service is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant (or Associate) Attending level for clinical service to provide comprehensive palliative care at the MSK Westchester site. The physician will have a predominantly outpatient clinical practice, with three full days of outpatient clinic each week. The role includes providing inpatient Supportive Care consultation and supervising fellows and other learners.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive palliative care at the MSK Westchester site.
- Conduct a predominantly outpatient clinical practice with three full days of clinic each week.
- Provide inpatient Supportive Care consultation.
- Supervise MSK HPM fellows and other learners.
- Provide weekend on-call coverage.
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of Supportive Care services.
- Engage in scholarly activity, including clinical research, educational interventions, and clinical implementation projects.
Requirements
- Board certified in primary specialty.
- Board certified / board eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM).
- Completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in HPM.
- Superb clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to teaching, quality improvement, and scholarly activity.
- Prior academic appointments (Assistant or Associate Professor), strong publication track record, and significant clinical experience will be considered for the rank of Associate Attending.

- $260,000 to $385,000
