About the Role
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Attending level for clinical service with a focus on emergency medicine and oncology. This position will regularly staff the Urgent Care Center to treat acutely ill patients and promptly diagnose and manage emergency conditions experienced by patients receiving cancer-directed therapies.
Responsibilities
- Regularly staff our Urgent Care Center to treat acutely ill patients for at least 146 twelve-hour shifts per year.
- Promptly diagnose and manage emergency conditions experienced by patients receiving a variety of cancer directed therapies.
Requirements
- Graduated from an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Superb clinical and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with clinical research.
- Board certification or board eligibility in emergency medicine or internal medicine.
- Eligibility for licensure in New York and New Jersey.
