About the Role
The Rapid Diagnosis, Early Detection, and Risk Reduction (RADAR) Service in the Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time physician faculty member at the Assistant Attending level to coordinate rapid diagnostic evaluations, support cancer survivors, grow digital surveillance and blood-based screening, and partner with clinicians and researchers to investigate new strategies for cancer risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate rapid diagnostic evaluations for individuals with suspected but unconfirmed cancer as part of the Diagnostic Express (DEX) clinic.
- Provide efficient cancer screening in high-risk populations.
- Support cancer survivors who have complex medical needs, including adult survivors of pediatric cancer.
- Grow to include digital surveillance and blood-based screening and early detection for persons at high risk of cancer.
- Partner with clinicians and researchers across MSK to investigate new strategies for efficient screening, surveillance, early detection and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Graduated from an ACGME-accredited residency program
- Superb clinical and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with clinical research
- Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
- Eligibility for licensure in New York and New Jersey
