About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: intake with hiring managers, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline across clinical, direct support, and administrative roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft accurate, compelling job postings.
  • Conduct initial phone screens, behavioral interviews, and coordinate Manager interview logistics.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer-acceptance rate) to inform ongoing strategy.
  • Contribute to the design of a new, modernized recruitment strategy for IAHD, including sourcing channels, employer branding, and candidate experience.
  • Enhance utilization of Paycom applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Research and recommend best practices in recruitment for the intellectual/developmental disability services sector and comparable industries.
  • Develop standardized recruitment workflows, templates, and interview guides to improve consistency and reduce time-to-fill.
  • Own the new hire onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, credentialing, compliance documentation) in partnership with relevant departments.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure consistent and welcoming onboarding experience across all roles and locations.
  • Gather onboarding feedback and continuously improve the process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience; bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience; or master’s degree with 1 year of related experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and working knowledge of record-keeping.
  • Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable and insured vehicle required.
  • Knowledge of government regulations & legal requirements pertaining to Human Resources or similar regulatory environment.
  • Ability to utilize and learn new technology platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19).

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
