About the Role
Lake Imaging seeks an Ultrasound Supervisor to support the Ultrasound department by maintaining high-quality, efficient services, providing leadership to staff, and managing technical staff rosters and leave.
Responsibilities
- Supervising practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
- Performing high-quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
- Being familiar with all equipment and accessories provided for fluent examinations
- Demonstrating leadership in treating patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect
- Providing a high-quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
- Fostering good public relations and communications with the team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
- Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US
- Identifying training needs for junior Sonographers
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer, Modality Supervisor, or similar position
- Holds ASAR and professional indemnity insurance
- Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development
- Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail
- A passionate and 'can-do' attitude
