About the Role

The Summer Associate Program offers a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry and Clark's business. Associates are fully embedded with a team, gaining hands-on experience in project management, field management, project development, and business operations. The program includes training, networking, and a Capstone Project presenting findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

Review gross billings, track change orders, and subcontractor requisitions.
Manage the submittals, RFI, and material tracking process.
Act as a trusted advisor to subcontractors for successful field installation.
Assist in site logistics, and ensure quality and safety on jobsites.
Monitor tradeworkers for quality of work and safety.
Assist with schedule management and site logistics.
Resolve unforeseen challenges within installation, schedule, and trade partner coordination.
Review initial contract documents, solicit, and provide preliminary evaluations of subcontractor bids.
Perform quantity takeoffs, prepare bid proposals, and quantify labor and material prices.
Collaborate to execute subcontractor agreements, review scope of work, and manage subcontractor relationships.

Requirements

Adaptable to all kinds of weather and moderate to loud noise levels.
Comfortable in elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment.
Flexibility to work extended hours, especially during critical project phases or client deadlines.
Pass a pre-employment fitness for duty screening.
Undergo random fitness for duty tests quarterly.
