About the Role
Lead the HUB24 Automation Centre (HAC), combining hands-on technical expertise with people leadership to deliver meaningful business outcomes through intelligent automation. Own the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the UiPath platform and automation portfolio while leading a team of RPA Developers, Business Analysts, and Support Analysts. Identify automation opportunities, deliver scalable solutions, and ensure automation services are secure, resilient, and well-governed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of RPA practitioners, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of automation initiatives from discovery and design through to build, testing, deployment and support.
- Remain hands-on in solution design, development and complex problem resolution.
- Own the day-to-day operation, health and continuous improvement of the UiPath platform, including orchestration, environments and platform governance.
- Ensure automations are secure, scalable, supportable and aligned with HUB24 technology and governance standards.
- Act as the escalation point for production incidents, driving root cause analysis and continuous service improvement.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, prioritise initiatives and deliver measurable value.
- Manage delivery capacity, planning and reporting to ensure predictable and high-quality outcomes.
- Drive technical excellence through development standards, reusable components, documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Cyber Security, DevOps and external partners to deliver robust automation solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading automation or technology delivery teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with UiPath, including orchestration, platform administration and environment management.
- Experience delivering, supporting and enhancing automation solutions, with at least 5 years working with RPA technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical leadership with people leadership and coaching responsibilities.
- Strong experience managing production support, incident response, monitoring, alerting and root cause analysis.
- Deep understanding of software delivery practices, governance, operational readiness and lifecycle management.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience operating in regulated environments with strong security, compliance and risk-management requirements.
