About the Role
First Command Financial Advisors coach military families in their pursuit of financial security, shaping positive financial behaviors through one-on-one coaching. We inspire and motivate clients to take the first or next step on a path to financial security. This role offers a path to become a Financial Advisor where leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional growth come together.
Responsibilities
- Coach military families on financial plans that evolve to pursue short-term and long-term financial goals.
- Provide guidance on managing day-to-day finances, building lifetime assets, and protecting against the unexpected.
- Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command with team and Home Office support.
- Connect directly with the military community by partnering with local military organizations, units, and supporting institutions.
- Coach military families on building a comprehensive financial plan including savings/banking, investments/wealth management, and insurance/risk management.
Requirements
- Military experience or affiliation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven leadership skills

Salary/Compensations
- Hourly wage for 3 months, then salaried with progressive incentives for nine months.
- No cap on earning potential based on competitive commissions, residual income, bonuses, and deferred compensation.
