About the Role
We are looking for Senior Consultants to join our growing and dynamic Advisory team. Our team enables clients across infrastructure and the built environment to successfully implement bold solutions, solving their most pressing problems. The Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory capability supports UK organisations in designing, mobilising and delivering complex investment programmes and maintaining operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Structure complex and ambiguous problems and develop practical, implementable solutions.
- Conduct analysis and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Facilitate client workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Deliver diagnostic and maturity assessments where appropriate.
- Influence and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Lead workstreams or small commissions, managing scope, quality and delivery.
- Use subject matter expertise to translate complex technical or strategic issues into clear and compelling client messages.
- Support business development activities, including proposals, bids and client presentations.
- Coach and support junior team members where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous development of our Procurement & Supply Chain capability.
Requirements
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy, Category Management, Contract and Commercial advice, Market Engagement & Market Management, Supplier Relationship & Performance Management, Procurement Execution, Supply Chain Sustainability, Supply Base Resilience & Risk Management, Process improvement and digitisation, Procurement and Commercial Capability Transformation.
- Experience within one or more of the following sectors is desirable: Transport, Water & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Technology, Real Estate & Development.
- Demonstrate leadership potential.
- Experience supporting supply chain and procurement projects or major transformations.
- Possess expertise in one or more of the capability areas described.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Commercially aware, collaborative in approach, and motivated to contribute to business development and sales opportunities.
- Passionate about helping clients solve complex challenges and motivated to contribute to the growth of our Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory capability.
- Strong intellect.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively.
- Talent for showing clients that we have the right solutions to their most pressing issues.
- Experience may have been gained from a range of career paths, including Management Consulting (Big-4, Strategy or Boutique firm), or transitioning from engineering, cost & commercial consultancy, programme/project management, or client-side roles.
