About the Role
Programmed is seeking an experienced Gardener (Team Leader) to join a mobile crew in Sydney, delivering exceptional maintenance services. This role offers the chance to lead a team, enjoy outdoor work, and secure long-term employment with a steady income.
Responsibilities
- Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Coordinate daily work schedules and allocate tasks
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback
- Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding
- Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging
- Implement mulching and planting programs
- Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment
- Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard
- Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures
- Operate a range of commercial out-front and zero-turn mowers and other small plant equipment
Requirements
- Qualifications or experience in horticulture, parks and gardens, gardening, or landscaping
- A passion for providing quality work
- A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
- A current driver's license
- A current white card
- A professional approach to the workplace
- The ability to execute work to a high standard
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems
- Candidates will be required to complete a national police check
- Candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment
