About the Role
Warehouse Selectors are a critical part of the foodservice supply chain, picking orders for delivery to local customers. This is an active, physical role requiring operation of electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts, organizing and palletizing product, and working in varying temperature and humidity conditions.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
- Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift.
- Organize and palletize product to build customer orders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in a safe environment with temperature and humidity variations.
- Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
- Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
- Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
- Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
- Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
- 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
- 1 year Selection Experience.
- 2 years consistent work history preferred.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
