About the Role

This role is responsible for managing inventory within the US field, ensuring the efficient flow of inventory between the distribution center and accounts. The focus is on optimizing inventory levels, minimizing expenses, and improving service levels while adhering to US field inventory policy.

Responsibilities

Execute processes and develop tools to manage field inventory, including transactional processes, documentation, reporting, and training.
Optimize inventory levels and minimize expenses such as scrap and freight.
Partner with sales management, representatives, and leadership to ensure alignment on inventory execution.
Conduct field visits with sales personnel to understand business needs and current state.
Inform sales representatives of consignment return procedures and inventory management policies.
Proactively monitor and maintain inventory in partnership with the sales team and internal parties.
Implement Use Before Date policies, including field notification and commission adjustments.
Generate reports to summarize stock rotation and update sales management.
Resolve inventory errors and discrepancies with customer service, distribution teams, and customers.
Extract data from internal systems to create spreadsheets for inventory analysis.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of information entered into the ERP system.
Utilize problem-solving techniques and negotiate to consensus when interacting with sales reps, managers, and customers.
Coordinate cycle count activities with Sales Representatives and resolve discrepancies.
Support Company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
Comply with FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, and Company policies.
Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (± 16 years) BA, BBA, or BS OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Minimum 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to perform intermediate capability in Microsoft Excel and SAP/Business Objects strongly preferred.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
Ability to travel <5%.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
Knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) preferred.
