About the Role

Regeneron is seeking a Director to join their Global Patient Safety Sciences Delivery team. This role serves as the primary contact for General Medicine operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of safety data processing, submission creation, and documentation. The position is responsible for the high-quality, compliant execution of safety surveillance, signal management, and aggregate reporting activities across the portfolio, contributing to a science-driven organization making a difference to patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop common practices, processes, and templates to standardize core activities like signal detection and authoring safety document sections.
• Ensure compliance and quality management of Safety Sciences Delivery activities, including adherence to regulations and establishment of SOPs.
• Lead signal detection coordination and management processes for General Medicine, including Safety Monitoring Teams, Safety Surveillance Plans, and Signal Evaluation Reports.
• Develop innovative approaches for core activities, integrating new technologies.
• Analyze aggregate safety data to identify emerging safety issues and patterns.
• Support cross-functional coordination for timely and compliant benefit-risk assessments for periodic safety reports.
• Drive development and implementation of training programs for GPS staff, including a standardized training curriculum and knowledge management repository.
• Serve as the main point of contact for liaising with Safety Sciences Strategy General Medicine GPS Leads.
• Collaborate with key Regeneron interfaces such as Clinical, Regulatory, Med Affairs, and Biostats & Data Management.
• Build, coach, and scale a high-performing team, driving succession planning and talent pipelines.
• Implement talent strategy and leadership development initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree in life sciences or healthcare.
• 12+ years of Pharmacovigilance (PV) experience, with a focus on Safety Sciences and General Medicine experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess and optimize Safety operations processes.
• Ability to drive consistency and ensure high-quality, compliant execution across activities.
• Strong leadership capabilities and presence.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and workload planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple different projects simultaneously.
• Preferred experience with oversight of operations within a global patient safety organization.
• Preferred experience with AI technologies.
• Preferred experience leading a matrixed role across multiple organizational areas.
• Preferred people management experience.
