About the Role
Netflix is seeking a Creative Assistant to support the IP Scouting EMEA team in London. This role requires navigating priorities, taking initiative, adapting to project needs, and managing diverse responsibilities with strong organization and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reading lists and memos on project status for internal teams.
- Assess projects independently on behalf of the team.
- Input project data, such as pitches and submissions, into internal systems.
- Support creative leads by preparing presentations using Google Slides.
- Maintain effective internal and external communication with various stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with content teams across EMEA and the IP Scouting Team.
- Support Team Leaders with ad hoc projects and event organization.
- Manage complex calendars for multiple executives, including scheduling meetings.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Serve as the team's go-to expert for internal and external systems.
Requirements
- 1+ Years as an assistant supporting senior-level creative executives, agents or producers, or administrative experience in the media or publishing industry.
- Understanding of creative processes, particularly adaptation.
- Genuine interest in storytelling, series, and film.
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.
- Technically minded with experience mastering multiple systems.
- Ability to respond after hours for important, timely, or urgent matters.
- Team player in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Enthusiastic about Netflix culture and values.
Skills
- Fluency in English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Google Mail.
- Prior experience reading scripts or books and providing coverage is preferred.
- Ability to speak another European language is an advantage.
