About the Role

As a Senior Facilities Manager at JLL supporting the Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities account, you will manage all high-performing operational aspects of the assigned sites within the account owned and/or occupied portfolio. This role requires exceptional customer and stakeholder service, proactive support for staff and clients, and ensuring a great workplace experience. You will oversee remote sites, manage multiple sites and people, and support team member wellbeing while championing inclusivity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide appropriate level of staffing in numbers and skill sets to handle IFM Services, work volume and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement plans for continuous process improvement, cost reduction, efficiency, innovation, and benchmarking.
  • Fully support Client's initiatives in an effective and efficient fashion.
  • Challenge and improve all aspects of cost and performance of business.
  • Develop and execute an annual Team Strategic Plan aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor PPM schedules, O&M's, warranties, Task System, Asset & Life Cycle Registers.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance and regulatory adherence across all sites.
  • Proactively manage spend and budget locally in line with JLL policies.
  • Process PO's, invoices, budgets, and service charges.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Demonstrate leadership, give direction and mentor JLL team on site.
  • Promote engagement and excellence in customer service.
  • Foster professional development.
  • Ensure and facilitate excellent communications with clients according to key stakeholders strategy.
  • Maintain relevant information flow and set appropriate expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Facilities Management experience including interaction with senior-level management.
  • Experience managing hard and soft services in corporate offices or commercial real estate environments.
  • Ability to react quickly and decisively when faced with a problem or issue.
  • Ability to work off own initiative with minimal supervision in fast-paced operational settings.
  • Strong team player with commitment to support colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining service quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing services.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage technical teams.
  • Experience in customer-facing environment within technical FM services.
  • Ability to display initiative, confidence, and professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints.
  • Experience identifying cost savings opportunities and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Experience with contract management.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Experience with small capital projects.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and CMMS or similar facilities management systems.
