About the Role

Democracy Prep Public Schools seeks a Student Recruitment Manager to design and execute student recruitment tactics and community outreach to fill seats for its ten schools. This role requires a strong understanding of the communities served to implement efforts for family applications and registrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Democracy Prep canvassers, overseeing team management, coaching, and development to meet student recruitment goals.
  • Analyze data to ensure canvassing strategies are effective and maximize family enrollment.
  • Identify and attend community events to recruit students.
  • Represent Democracy Prep Public Schools in recruiting efforts at various organizations.
  • Identify high-impact enrollment partnerships with community organizations.
  • Meet with prospective students and parents to promote Democracy Prep Public Schools.
  • Research community outreach events and recruitment opportunities.
  • Participate in canvassing efforts in strategic locations.
  • Coordinate logistics for school recruitment events.
  • Engage in student recruitment phone calls to answer questions and provide information.
  • Complete enrollment forms for families.
  • Participate in and lead other student recruitment-related tasks.
  • Manage canvassing teams to complete recruitment-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in enrollment management, canvassing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading enrollment strategies and achieving targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive enrollment strategies aligned with organization’s goals.
  • Experience in analyzing enrollment trends and leveraging data for strategic decision making.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices.
  • Experience in designing and executing effective student enrollment campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
