About the Role
Austin Country Club is seeking a motivated Outside Service Attendant to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
- Collects green and cart fees and other revenue from guests and processes in the POS system
- Issues receipts for guest purchases
- Takes messages for staff or guests
- Assists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies
- Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day
- Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with golf bags
- Clean, stage, and store golf carts
- Set up and maintain the driving range and practice facilities
- Ensure bag drop, cart barn, and practice areas remain clean and organized
- Assist with club storage and bag room organization
- Provide general support to the Golf Professional Staff
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
- Follow all club safety and operational procedures
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Golf knowledge preferred but not required
