About the Role
Huntington Coach is seeking skilled body shop technicians of all levels to join our team and work in our state-of-the-art facility in Long Island, NY.
Responsibilities
- Review repair order to verify work to be performed
- Remove and replace or restore defective panels and components
- Apply surface coatings following applicable procedures and disposal processes
- Complete all repairs in accordance with repair order and to customer satisfaction
- Complete and submit required repair documentation
- Follow all applicable safety and health procedures
- Consider the best way to do things and look for ways to streamline and/or improve work processes
- Straighten body panels with minimal use of body filler
- Perform body assembly and disassembly
- Perform panel alignment
- Perform welding on mild steel using acetylene and MiG
- Perform fiberglass repair
- Perform rust repair
- Perform hand and machine sanding
- Perform masking and paint preparation
- Perform priming and painting
- Perform hand and machine polishing
Requirements
- Must display thorough and proven knowledge of general body repair
- Must have a strong work ethic, work productively with exceptional attention to detail
- Must provide outstanding customer service and maintain effective working relationships with customers, supervisors, and co-workers
- Must maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment
- Demonstrates “we versus me” thinking

About the Company
