About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving-preferred role supports a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach that puts people first.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
- Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- This position is primarily a driving post.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
