About the Role
The Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club is seeking a Contract Part-time Server Assistant to support the Food & Beverage Department. This role involves assisting with serving members and guests in dining areas, ensuring exceptional experiences within a welcoming culture.
Responsibilities
- Greet and guide Club Members and Guests to their reserved tables.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-line staff to efficiently deliver food and supplies.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests and team members.
- Continuously clean, set, and re-set tables, managing assigned areas.
- Enforce and comply with safe-food handling practices and maintain a sanitary environment.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Some experience with food serving and public relations in hospitality or recreation.
- Experience in the private Club and/or Hospitality industry.
- Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate weight (up to approx. 40 lbs.).
- Mandatory availability on Friday-Sunday and open availability, including weeknights, weekends & statutory holidays.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High levels of initiative.
- Dedication to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Smart Serve certification is an asset.
